Tim Bradshaw, Shareholder and grower of seed destined for our new Essentially English brand of Oleifera cold pressed rapeseed oil, is also in charge of farming at JCM Glassford Ltd.

Farming over 2500 Acres in Lincolnshire and neighbouring Nottinghamshire, JCM Glassford have recently expanded their vegetable growing operation; currently cultivating carrots, leeks, parsnips, potatoes, sugar beet, vining peas and various cereals. The heavy land has a very simple rotation of wheat and oilseed rape, the latter of which is destined for the new Essentially English brand of Oleifera cold pressed rapeseed oil. Tim takes ‘care of the environment’ very seriously. The farms are all entered into Environmental Stewardship Schemes and they have planted many new hedges and trees over recent years.

New, Shorter Bottle!

Oleifera Essentially English is bottled in a 31 cm tall bottle, which is a full 5 cm shorter than our original iconic Naturally Northumberland and Brilliantly Borders bottle. The new bottle holds just as much oil (500 ml), has the same iconic shape, but is now short enough to fit on you cupboard shelves!
