    The team are pleased to announce the Oleifera bottling plant has passed its SALSA audit once again with flying colours!

    SALSA is the Safe And Local Supplier Approval scheme and is supported by the BRC, the food and drink association and the NFU.

    Being a part of this approval scheme helps local and regional producers like us supply our products to national and regional buyers and is something we are very proud to be a part of.

    Oleifera has featured in August editions of both Women's Fitness and Cook Vegetarian!

    Women's Fitness featured Oleifera as a top product and focused on the health benefits that come from the high levels of omega-3, vitamin D & E and just 6% saturated fat that Oleifera contains. To see the feature, click here.

    Oleifera at The CLA Gamefair, Warwickshire

    What a great weekend at the CLA Gamefair, the stand and demonstrations were fantastic with lots of people trying and buying Oleifera. Rachel’s demonstrations were fantastic and we are delighted we got a chance to taste some of the fabulous food Rachel made, from dishes with Game, to cakes to dressings, the weekend saw Rachel producing some culinary delights using Oleifera.

    Rachel popped along to the stand for signings and answered questions from aspiring cooks and chef’s alike.

    We are delighted that we have a winner a day from the event that will each receive a year’s supply of Oleifera! Thanks to all visitors to the stand, it was great to meet, thanks also to those who entered the competition, we will announce the winners very soon! We will also be in touch with all of those who left their details to get our newsletter we’ll be offering the latest news, recipes and offers…..

    Oleifera and The Great British Menu

    Oleifera makes its TV debut this summer – we were thrilled to follow chef Kenny Atkinson to the final of the BBC’s Great British Menu.

    The chefs were challenged with creating dishes that celebrated locally sourced produce to their homes and Kenny used Oleifera premium cold pressed rapeseed oil in his dishes.

    The final of the series culminated at The Assembly Rooms, Bath, where chefs cooked for The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.

    Oleifera announce Speciality & Fine Food Fair Attendance

    Oleifera are attending the Speciality & Fine Food Fair at London Olympia and will be in the Scotland Food & Drink Pavilion.

    This event is dedicated to local, regional and artisan food and drink and Oleifera will be used during demonstrations in the chefs area of the Scotland Pavilion.

    Oleifera announce CLA Gamefair attendance

    As part of our ongoing relationship with chef Rachel Green, we are proud to be sponsoring her at the CLA Gamefair, Ragley Hall, Warwickshire this summer from Friday July 23rd to Sunday July 25th.

    Our stand will be situated in the British Food Village, we will be sampling and selling Oleifera. The CLA attracts in excess of 150,000 people over 3 days. As well as demonstrations and displays, there is also the chance for visitors to find out how to get involved in activities and to shop at the events many stalls.

    Rachel will be demonstrating “Strike  Oil with Oleifera” in the British Food Theatre, offering visitors an insight into the versatility of rapeseed oil for cooking. Oleifera is THE cold pressed rapeseed oil of choice of top chef Rachel, champion of British produce, who uses it for baking, roasting, mayonnaise and salad dressings because it is “so much better for you than olive oil – half the saturated fat – AND it’s British!”

    As well as watching Rachel cook up some mouth watering dishes, visitors to the show can also meet some of the team from Oleifera at our stand in the British Food Village (stand 53). Rachel will be bringing her culinary delights to the stand for visitors to sample after each of her demonstration. Signed copies of Rachel’s book can also be purchased from the stand.

    To show how Oleifera begins life in our rapeseed fields, the team have been involved in a photo shoot.

    The photos give you the chance to meet the team who produce our premium rapeseed oil and also chef Rachel Green who visited us for the photo-shoot and has recently been involved in recipe development, coming up with many great ways to use Oleifera in the kitchen.
